The Hall Residences is a six level condo building on the side of the mountainside in Red River, NM. It contains 18,000 sf of heated space and 2,800 sf of out door deck and patios. The building is designed as a sustainable building on this site. It is situation as to take full advantage of the 44 degree mountainside slope as it steps upward and into the mountain as to on excavate the footprint of the building as it touches the sloping grade. There is a green roof and each patio has planters designed for green space for each individual unit. The building also has a full basement that will contain cisterns for capturing stormwater for use as greywater systems for the building as well as irrigation for the green roofs. Solar panels will be installed on the north side of the mountainside to provide power to heat the building. This building will be the first of its kind in Red River.
